The strategy the political fundraisers use to try to squeeze donations out of people is

1. Lie to them

2. Try to emotionally manipulate them

3. spam the hell out of them

4. Do all of the above in a way that demonstrates that they think their donors are retarded.

I don't know about you, but for me, it pisses me off and makes me regret that I ever gave a penny. I will not again as long as these tactics are used.
