I dont know how they expect their FedNow and CBDC to work if entire cities are on forced blackout. Seems like they'd realistically try avoiding this at all costs

Good point. Maybe they will just blackout the areas that rebel against cbdcs
But then that would provide a positive use case for those sticking to fiat cash. Our government is pretty stupid, but this definitely feels like a cover for something that the gov is trying to get in front of
