To clarify, we are not opposed to the idea of using gold as a form of currency, and it is evident that we do not regard gold as a "shitcoin."
Our aim is to highlight that the pursuit of a gold standard has already been attempted by organized groups of politically connected Muslims.
We believe it is time for Muslims to embrace an optimistic outlook and explore innovative solutions that operate entirely outside the Riba-based fiat system. We need to be courageous but also pragmatic.
While it is natural to feel discomfort and uncertainty when venturing into new territory, we must remember that as an ummah, we have the potential to break free from the constraints of Riba that hold us back and strive for a brighter future, inshaAllah.
