I don't get people consolidating their utxos, not only do you reduce your privacy, but if you really think bitcoin js going to drastically increase in value, isn't it good to have a few smaller utxos?

Doesn't effect me either way, I whirlpool and use post mix spending tools anyway, so its a non issue for me.
