It’s so wild how these 8 and 9 figure net worth artists continue to tour well into their 70. They don’t need money, must be addicted to the adoration and fame.

Why? That comes from the assumption that #artists do their art form for adoration.
Most artists I’ve known do it because it’s a need to express something. Whatever resources gained from it are secondary.
I think it’s addiction to the power that comes with the money more than the fame.
