That's another reason why we want to rebuild Slack. Everyone hates Slack. Me as well. It's design in such a horrible way.
We have some cool ideas to make it way better, so people feel it helps them being productive opposed to being constantly distracted how Slack does it.
I'm working on flotilla.social, which is a slack/discord alternative. It should "just work" with your business suite stuff, and it already supports white labeling.
