There's a fine line between hodling and living on a bitcoin standard.

My 20+ year old boots agree.
Living on the Bitcoin standard is hodling

This year will be the year I'm living solely on the bitcoin standard. It has taken time to be able to do it. I am confident I am able to now.
Let's gooooooooooo!!!!! ๐งก๐ฅ I'm going even harder then.
The biggest secret I had to figure out (& still learning today) is how to demand sats for payment.
Its easy to work the fiat mines, and auto-convert to sats; great, but still supporting the fiat system.
To demand sats as income, in exchange for your work, is the real secret sauce
I hope I can achieve that soon.
I love that idea! What's blocking you if you don't mind me asking? Me, it's my wife lol. She finna get kicked if she doesn't comply soon. My satspatience has limits! ๐๐คฃ Jk
Definitely. Either way, people are better off without ever trading Bitcoin for fiat savings. I think many people still need to change their perspective on this. Bitcoin is not an on/off ramp to fiat wealth. Dance the line between hodling and spending, but try not to resort to selling for selling's sake. You'll just have less wealth in the long run.
In the past I just treated my stack as a savings account. Now I have three separate stacks for short term , medium, and long term. The banks have been an on ramp for me. But I may close the legacy bank accounts down and just receive my paycheck via strikes direct deposit.
I've been considering making that move too. There are certain things stopping me at this point in time, so DCA is my current solution (which Strike's fee-free DCA is KILLER for this). But I'd love to make the move to living solely on the BTC standard in the future. Cudos to you if you go down that route. It's the future anyway
*kudos
One can ideally convert monthly all fiat received and just save that maximum possible like a Jew.
If you transact bitcoin for services and goods priced in #bitcoin then you are pretty close to #hodl .. cuz the hodl goal is not to convert in fiat .. circular economy and paying network fees is a good thing ..
