Fulcrum is suuuper fast, but it is fragile! I heard the newest update somewhat mitigates the issue it has corrupting drives when not turned off graciously.

I did frequent restarts so it won't eat all of my RAM, combined with btrfs snapshots as insurance if I accidentally misstep.
And a TimeoutStopSec=infinity on the systemd service. That did the trick nicely.
Fully synced and fully worked. But I'm never going to sync from scratch ever again, it's just way too slow.
Haha yeah iv spent the last 4 days synching a new node on a proxmox vm, still chugging along. Painful as I know its overwriting a full blockchain already on that drive (well, before I wiped it) trying to work out how to mount a drive to a vm and then salvage block chain off it was just too much for me 😅
