i'm not sure what men with daddy issues looks like exactly. is that from cats in the cradle type neglect or The Joker type stuff?

seems to me like there must be something pathological in both genders where the father is the main cause though. what i've seen of the effects of bad fathers on girls is they turn into empty headed sluts, or fanatical cultists when their father abuses them. i've had too much contact with this to think that it's not a systemic issue.

i read the whole thread and i didn't catch anything that sounded like a description of what men with daddy issues looks like.

i'm not sensitive about it, because i know i'm kinda screwed up and here i am at 49 single and childless, as a result. i deliberately made the decision to not bother chasing a wife for some years now because a) most of the women are crazy bitches and b) even if they aren't crazy bitches i still need to have income to pay for them.

i understand that "daddy issues" with girls tends to be about being in some way raised badly, either pampered and pandered or abused and subjugated. the expression seems flippant but the reality is brutal.

I said that they have the same problem. They think it isn't normal to be willing to die for someone you love. They only live for their own sake. They are not protective, self-sacrificial, or otherwise paternal.

Fathers are childrens' eyes on the world. Either by being a good example, a bad example, or no example.

oh, ok, i understand that. yes, the mother teaches about the self and the father teaches about the world. this is how it is. mothers are kind, fathers challenge and discipline.
