Good interview with #TylerCowen about #AI risks. While he expects AI to be disruptive, he does not believe that doomsayers have made their case. Climate change and COVID worriers put out mathematical models that could be discussed and evaluated, both theoretically and empirically. AI catastrophists don’t have models. Cowen also believes they have overestimated the value of intelligence.

Thanks for sharing this. Not many people like to discuss the limitations of knowledge and understanding. Probably part of why Hayek isn’t as popular as Keynes.
