password manager
needs some shill
Some time ago I used Dashlane
then briefly I moved to SaaS Bitwarden
now I host my own VaultWarden
And it works, I am a bit afraid of a sudden data loss but I mitigate it with backups etc. I run it on all my devices through linux, and mac, iPhone and android and even on my company windows as browser extension.
encrypted data at rest should be fine in case ob breach, right?
today I heard about passwordstore (I know it seems like I missed my basic linux education)
it feels like an ultimate solution
no database that could get corrupted
PGP encryption at rest
I can use syncthing or even dropbox to exchange the files
it seems to have tons of extensions
so what do you think?
