I was on the call, but I think it just came off as biased towards ocean. Would be nice to get the opposing perspective of even to hear them debate.

Yeah I mean it's understandable he's biased to ocean but I agree it would be great to hear a debate. In general, I like oceans approach where you can pick. If you want to build a core template, you still can. In terms of censorship, the more choice we give each individual the better we can combat centralization and potential for corruption.
I think it explains the reason Ocean exists and the background of the mining centralization. Hardware, templates, incentives, transparency and etc is a very strong learning opportunity.
Every perspective deserves to be understood.
I fall into the camp that there are current issues and Ocean is a counter which I appreciate.
