The daily profit of 25 x S21 Antminer mining at around 10 cents per kwh is around the same as a well managed lightningnode (est. apy ~1.5) with 1 btc outbound.
The hashrate keeps climbing, apy for running your LN node should stay the same more or less.

I have heavily looked into mining and considered even a significant investment, but after carefully looking at the market, I don’t think it makes sense unless you combine it with a related business where you have unused energy. Mining definitely is more risky than it looks at a first glance.
yes this is correct although i have never been able to get a yield more than 1%
