In 2007, Lenny Robinson, a 43-year-old from Maryland, decided to sell his cleaning business to follow his dream of becoming Batman.
Originally purchasing a replica Batman suit to delight his son, Lenny continuously improved it over the years. He even got himself a Batmobile, opting for a black Lamborghini, to complete his transformation.
Lenny dedicated his time to visiting sick children in hospitals, offering them comfort and joy during their difficult times.
He once came to the aid of a 6-year-old girl with a rare genetic condition who was being doubted by her schoolmates for claiming Batman was her friend. Dressed in his Batman attire, Lenny visited her school to affirm her story in front of everyone.
Sadly, on August 16th, 2015, while Lenny was checking his Batmobile on the side of a highway after it had broken down, he was tragically hit by another vehicle when he inadvertently stepped onto the road.
