I’m sure you’re a good driver as well, but you don’t seem to mind following regulations regarding that.

If you’re a responsible firearm owner, I don’t know why you would have a problem with regulations to ensure you know how to use a gun safely and that you’re not a lunatic.

You should have to show proof that you took a gun safety class for whatever type of firearm you purchase. Handgun, one license, shotgun, another. Semi auto rifles, you get the idea. It’s no different than needing to acquire a separate drivers license for motorcycles, chauffeurs and 18 wheelers and to prove you can use them safely.

The difference is, y’all think the 2nd amendment means you don’t have to prove anything because it says that right shall not be infringed on. What you feel to realize is, it’s already infringed on. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Anyone who thinks otherwise, can go fuck themselves. I can be passive aggressive too. 😎

And who will be the arbiter of requirements for these "safety classes" ?

How does this requirement stop criminals from misusing firearms?

It seems more to me that this regulation only makes it harder for law abiding citizens to protect themselves. It also puts potential unelected bureaucrats in charge of determining the extent of safety requirements. This does nothing to stop criminals from using guns.
