Primal with its new pRemIUm features is the worst client. EVER.
A fee for an "advanced" search function, a fee for uploading bigger content and a fee for contact list backup - that should be the minimum to be expected for free.
It doesn't even have basic functions like amethyst has. No deleting, no editing and a horrible UI. The settings are not even basic - they're non-existent.
Fuck these grifters!

Finally people start waking up to the fact that Primal is just a twitter clone and for nostr it's basically what Coinbase is for Bitcoin. The necessary evil to keep ying and yang in balance.

For some that's a twitter clone charging for basic features with a 3rd party custodian wallet plugged in.
For others it's more complete clients giving users access to ALL of nostr where people connect their own wallets (or don't) and rather pay for some relays than a ☑️

Bro developing is hard work. I see no dishonesty whatsoever. Make your own app if you think it's so easy.
What did they develop recently? It's the same since day one. And I have no problem with them making money but not with a beta version and users as testers. The end product should be near perfect before asking for cash or would you buy an unfinished phone?
I buy unfinished games sometimes. I buy unfinished businesses. All investments in businesses are purchases into what a company has yet to offer or complete. If you want a finished product, them go find a finished product. No one said you have to pay for primal. You can pick something else.
Are you upset that some people like it? It bothers me that people overrate Taylor Swift but not to the point that I feel compelled to call her a grifter. The people who pay her money for her unfinished songs actually like what they're getting.

A pop star popular with young women, who admittedly has a few bangers in her repertoire when she's not just writing childish breakup songs. And like many other creators of not yet ready for primetime goods and services, not a grifter, just overrated in my opinion. Learn the difference.
