Really close to home, I found an apple tree. Probably just naturally grown from a thrown away apple core. Most delicious apples (between the stink of rotten apples that are bug infested because nobody cares(/dares to take the apples?)

Makes me fantasize about SeB's drone swarm planter idea,... Or a more down to earth approach, just guerilla tree planting πŸ€”

I have a willow tree growing in a planter, no real good space in the garden to put it, but still I dream of a retired furture where I pick up the craft of weaving wicker baskets 🀭

If I help nature along the way somewhere else than my garden, what would that make me? Guerilla Gardner? πŸ‘€β˜ΊοΈ

I've been reading halfway through this thread on permies: https://permies.com/t/14353/Reforestation-Growing-trees-arid-barren

Super inspiring, I already collected a box full of almonds for planting. Granted this focuses on Mediterranean climate but the Idea is applicable everywhere.

Coupled this with the movie "The man who planted trees" and I am super pumped to reforest some areas around my place.

I often wondered why there's close to 0 fruit trees and shrubs in cities and suburbs. May be because people only see it as a nuisance (ie Rotting apples on the floor)

I also dream of a retirement weaving baskets
