people buy bitcoin because they want to make $$ dollars. if they couldn't exchange it for $$ dollars they wouldn't give AF about it.
I’m sure some do. But a large majority of true Bitcoiners buy and hold for use in a circular economy. At the moment, Bitcoin mainly acts and performs as a store of value, and there aren’t many avenues to spend it directly. But people are coming around to seeing the value in the coin itself. The importance of a network that can instantly transact value globally in a censorship resistant manner, and does not have inflation of value because it is finite. Governments, corporations, institutions and individuals all buy and hold Bitcoin. Some are for sure holding it for the reason you state. But many more are holding it for the reason I state. And those who hold for that reason largely outnumber the other side.
Society will come around, it just takes time.
No true Bitcoiner sells Bitcoin ever
I didn’t say that but okay
Spoken like someone who sells their bitcoin
it's the best way to get heroin
Wrong, US dollars are the currency of choice for crime globally
they should get smart and use bitcoin on the dark web to get their heroin
Nice try, fed
gas lighting, predictable from a mentally inferior gambler. everyone knows crypto is the preferred method of payment for illicit substances on the dark web. there's nothing to "try"
Okay have fun staying poor with your darkweb Monero while I'm going to the moon
good luck trying to make $$ dollars with your digital ponzi gambling project. because you'll need $$ dollars for 99.999% of goods and services in the world. clearly you need it.
Funny how I'm the ostrich but it's your head that's buried in the sand. Bitcoin is legal tender in El Salvador and rapidly being adopted in Africa. Doesn't matter because I'm never selling my Bitcoin when I know how much 1 sat will be worth to future generations.
