There's something called a key derivation function (KDF). It depends on which you use. Short answer : no, not the standard seed phrase. Longer answer, it can be done, but there's different ways of doing it.

Good to know, thanks. That's why it's cool to generate them in Alby, all new Nostr users can have seed phrase for their Nostr keys. There's also a Liquid web wallet you can use with the extension https://blog.getalby.com/introducing-anser-a-web-wallet-for-liquid/

Excellent work. This opens a lot of doors. Ultimately all keys are the same, entropy is entropy. Devil is in the detail.

This was done by a contributor for a bounty! Still very much unexplored territory in terms of usage and ecosystem. You could also use those keys in Alby Hub and later we will add Nostr keys within the Hub itself, that opens lots of doors as you said

Is it possible to choose some default relays for new users and broadcast a 10002 event to some of the big Nostr relays? Otherwise new users start with no relays and Nostr seems broken when they try out a client.

Let me forward that to the team
