It’s currently only in damus beta test (TestFlight) if you do have TestFlight damus then you need and alby account since is the only one that accepts wallet connect option so far.

Yea I'm waiting on my bro to come around and set me up on Alby, I'm not tech savvy and genZrs know everything 🙄 so yea il be sorted soon enough.
It’s fairly simple. Just like creating any other account. You can use it this way (custodial) until you’re ready to move to your own node.
After you create your account use it to connect it to damus in their settings
