Has happened so, so many times in history.

Guess the modern age isn't special after all.

Next step - make it unprofitable to extort your own population. #bitcoin (and #monero) can help!

Exactly! We call it modern, not because it is so, but because of our recency bias (and a few more gadgets).

With enough plebs like us, I think we still can turn this thing around eventually, or at least I hope so.
