Sideloading on android is incredibly easy and common.
fdroid has a lot of usage and it would be good distribution channel for something like this.

It's easy but still, Play Store has more than 1000x the reach of FDroid. It's friction to ask the user to enable developer mode etc.
Not debating that, just saying you don't need to hack your phone to use f-droid, contrary to iOS.
Also, if Google really went full dystopian and started censoring bitcoin or nostr apps, most users would quickly learn to use f-droid, no doubt.
