Not a smart guy but if I buy an ebook or audiobook insane! In the future something happens in. One of the books that I bought is unpopular can whatever site I bought that from take it from me aka delete it from my library purchase. Do I get my money back? I understand not your keys, not your Bitcoin. So not my bookshelf not my book?

Hmm. I guess technically if you didn't download the book to your device and the book was removed from the store, it probably would not longer be able to be downloaded again. But if you had it download or synced to your device, I would assume you'd be fine. But ultimately, not your bookshelf, not your book. Audiobookshelf fixes this 😂 I run it and have several audiobooks on my own hosted solution.
This has always been the problem with things like Apple Music, Steam Games, and whatever service you’re talking about.
