Others have said this before me but damn, the full realisation just washed over me on how Nostr is really gonna be the gateway drug to Bitcoin for many.

For example, all the people from the UK that have had friends telling them to study bitcoin for years but never did.

The way things are going there lately, they may be quite pleased to hear there's a way to voice an opinion without going to jail.

So those friends can now go "here ol' chap, try this out"

Then you play it cool and wait until they ask "what's with this lightning symbol?"

That's your cue to hit 'em with the "SO REMEMBER THAT THING I'VE BEEN TALKING ABOUT FOR 5 YEARS?"
