This is a great read.

“You don’t have to ask anyone. You don’t have to get a building permit or be a professional. You can just create. This too is a big change from the pre-internet era, and incidentally the reason I became a programmer. I wanted to make things, school did not offer avenues to create, but Geocities did. In fact it was one of the only sources in my childhood simply saying, you don’t have to wait for professionals to tell you how to make stuff, you can just make stuff. Start typing.)”

💯 Children have a need to build things and learn by doing in areas where their eyes light up and they are motivated, even obsessed.

Learning through doing, among other reasons, is why my daughter went to 3 years of Montessori. Absolutely worth it!

Both my daugthers did the same and we loved it. Now we homeschool them.

TL;DR on Montessari ?

In short the kid learn based on his interests and does activities / games to learn new topic.

there are other aspects like colaboration between kids etc

Might I missed things

Sounds fun😊

Yes they loved it at schools and they still do as we homeschool them.

they seems to really love learning that way.

Beautiful 💜

Montessori is a method of education where kids are in classes with mixed ages (but grouped) so they learn leadership, community. Lessons are interactive, proof of work based really, and largely self-directed (within the context of the “lessons” that are usually interpreted as play. Personal responsibility, everything gets put back just as they found it by themselves for the next person. Independence, creativity, freedom, and regard for the uniqueness of each child are emphasized. I love it.

👍🔥🔥🔥

This version is better

thanks 🤙🏽

Are you trying to say we are all playing in a Montessori referred to as Nostr where we are all interacting from a variety of ages posting Notes and keep tinkering with the zap machine?

This is cute

Today almost no one wants to create things, just consume.

This rings true to me. Recently got my 12 year old setup with Roblox Studio, and she is loving it. No one teaching her the program, she just dove in and started creating her own worlds.
