This amazing photo was taken yesterday in Oklahoma. These cloud structures are called Mammatus

Mammatus give the sky a unique and threatening look. And for good reason, Mammatus clouds that often form below Cumulonimbus clouds always portend a severe thunderstorm. These clouds are particularly spectacular at sunrise and sunset.
