Got a couple of Gloucester Old Spots coming to raise for meat so we're building a little shelter. It's our first time raising hogs and I'm curious....raise them quick on free feed or raise them slow on measured feed? Seems like people like one way or another, we haven't decided but probably slower for more meat vs too much fat (not opposed to fat...we love lard!). Kids have named them site unseen already Bacon and Sausage--but I kinda like Paco and Taco.
