I never stopped seeing these people. Utterly broken
I still see em in stores occasionally. But it been a bit since one of these. But I also avoid stumbling out into clown world unless necessary so I only really see people who drive by come in and out of the drug store across the street, which, that's where the bulk of them
During 2020 I had a sweet gig working for some old folks too scared to leave their house. Yeah it sucked waiting on line at whole foods and trader Joe's. But it was good money for doing my own shopping anyway.
What killed me were the idiots and the absurdist in me can't hear bullshit and not try to take it to the extreme so you realize you're an idiot🤷🏽
One time I noticed someone driving with their mask on and they got in line behind me. So I was like "did I just see you in your car alone with your mask on?"
And the guy was like "oh yeah you gotta" and that sense of 'everyone does t it because it's correct' just flicked that switch in my brain. I couldn't help myself.
I said "did you have the air conditioner on?"
And he was like "uh... Yeah it's like 98 today"
"But you know you're sucking up all the germs from outside and shooting them straight into your face right?!?"
*GASP* "I DIDN'T THINK ABOUT THAT!"

I was pretty happy with myself in thinking I had made a full grown man go all summer in LA with no air-conditioning for a good 2-3 weeks when I told my buddy that story and he said "dude! Maybe you created the guy in the meme!" And showed me this
I would be careful with these judgements. There are medical conditions (sensitivity to mold) where people are recommended to wear n95 masks in certain situations. You'd see them occasionally pre covid. I keep them on board for when I'm working in my engine room where all kinds of questionable shit likes to grow(I just did that 2 hours ago without a mask like a dipshit, sigh). Yes, post covid 99% of these people absolute twats but you may be incorrectly judging someone, like my grandmother.

no there isnt. Nobody was was driving alone in cars with windows up and masks on before 2020. You never saw it because nobody did it. I have never once seen a person IRL with a mask on until the word lost its mind in 2020.
