Made shakshuka today. I did not take a picture of the final product because the eggs started spilling all over the place. It was absolutely delicious, but next time I will use a deeper amount of the shakshuka, so the egg doesn’t run. #foodstr https://nostr.build/av/b2f3d3fec3c23fac7926fc0090ece6bd270da0ec299bd61a75f199213990e604.mov

Yes best breakfast by far i love it
To help with the sauce i advice using peeled and diced tomatos from a tin
2 tins of 400 grams and letting it thicken for 10-15 min
Also it is like pizza as in cold its very tasty as well perfect for a summer snack
Completely agree, I really like to make extra just so I have that little treat for later. And if someone wanted to turn it into breakfast the next day, just serve it as a side with the eggs.
I read in a recipe that they were using canned tomatoes, but I thought it might be better to use fresh. What is the advantage of using canned? Other than convenience, of course
Tinned have more iron ,calcium and lycopene
The puree that is inside the tin helps with the sauce a lot,
Tomato is something that is often better tinned than fresh especially for sauces
