Balaji Srinivasan says that "(toxic) Bitcoin maximalism is a capitalist version of woke". Not in ideas, but in strategy how to spread it. Tim Urban calls it low mind in his book What's our problem (recommended read) - not in opinions, but in enforced compliance (ostracization, forced culture, ...).

Bitcoin being opt in has seen it heavily associated with voluntaryism and tangential ideologies.

The difference between the extremes is one’s target is the state, the other targets members of the community in defence of the state/cathedral.

Growing wokeism relies on suppression of people, growing Bitcoin relies on transacting with people.

It’s an interesting idea to compare and contrast them as they’re both reactions to the big government nanny state that’s developed in the Anglosphere since 9/11.

Follow the incentives and everything is perverted by fiat. I think it’s just fine to show disgust to delusional fiat brain ideas.

Wokeism = statism. It’s the ideology of the Cathedral including the Fascocommunist State.

Bitcoin = individualism. It needs to become the dominant counterculture of the right to take on the Cathedral.

Same with woke. They believe it is truth and they believe it is OK to show disgust in racism and "social injustice".

That's the idea. Strategy is how you do it. Both do it with enforced compliance. That's the low mind vs high mind distinction.
