Maybe Nicki should ask why nobody has improved TCP/IP. It's been so long! Why hasn't the industry moved beyond this 43-year-old protocol?

there have been minor changes to optimize performance but the protocol is the exact same (maybe add TCP timestamps as well but that is optional and helps only if you push tens of gigabits)
but calling that TCP++ as calling a new way to manage fire like a stove, fire v2
