It's that time of year here in NY where the freeze is upon us.

To keep from having to carry buckets of water to the animals as long as possible, I'm routing my hoses with a high point and then slopes with no dips to allow the water to run out after use.

Also an example of what not to do this time of year: letting your hoses coiled on the ground. They don't drain and you will be hauling water by hand.

Also: disconnect the hoses from the yard hydrant after use.
