When do you think people will finally come to their senses and stop installing motion activated bathroom fixtures?
Discussion
I’m convinced the only place this makes sense is the laundry room (don’t need to turn off light when you carry out a load of laundry)
Lights can be automatic, they're magical anyway, and the stakes are much lower for leaving a light on than leaving your kids at the pool if you know what I mean.
What’s the issue you have with them? Are we talking about flushing, faucets, or something else?
They're more complex than analog alternatives, and there's no feedback. If they're broken or smudged you stand there waving your hands like an idiot for between 5 seconds (if it's a towel dispenser) or 5 minutes (if you're desperately trying to get a public toilet to flush).
I got traumatized when I was younger. I put a piece of TP over them 😁
