Nobody looking to exit the fiat system is going to buy blackrocks ETF, so your worries about it stifling freedom and adoption are based off of false premises. It’s going to increase demand because boomers and institutions will see this as “regulatory clarity” which will only bring more people in to question the system as a whole.

Very similar to Gold in that way but BTC advantages over Gold are obvious now……..True scarcity for the first time in history. Gold just ain’t truly scarce and thus is highly manipulated.
Agreed. It’s also an open protocol. Complaining about any use of an open protocol is objectively hypocritical and dumb for people who supports open protocols.
Anyone who believes Bitcoin will gain global adoption at scale should also understand that all organizations and institutions will capitulate and use Bitcoin in some way eventually.
The doomer complaints about this inevitable ETF are extremely regarded. I have all my UTXOs properly custodied. I run a node. My stack is sovereign and secure. All the stuff that happens outside of that is out of my control and largely irrelevant 🤫
