Brazil is amazing.

Why were you disappointed by Zero Theorem??? I thought it was a great dystopian look at the world, like if they had made Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. (Which they might've now...I think maybe it's a TV show but at the time it was the closest I could think of) Same vein.

It's been a minute.

I remember it was kind of boring. I would have to watch it again to be more specific. It just didn't seem as poignant or fun.

Where's, I still get something out of Brazil everytime I watch it.

I can see that. It was slow and definitely more thinky than fun like Fear and Loathing or some or his others.

But I thought it was very telling about being addicted to computers, no longer hanging real human interactions in the future and getting everything from ai, as well as escaping into drugs and pleasure 🤷🏽

I see what you're saying though there was a lot of opportunities in his craziness to have outlandish moments, I was expecting that but they never came.
