Section 702 allows intelligence agencies to compel businesses to wiretap the communications of foreigners without a warrant, even if they are taking to a US person.
It failed to be renewed again, for the third time in the past 6 months. It will sunset April 19th, 2024 if congress doesn't renew it.

This section isn't just bad in theory, it's being actively exploited in practice. Again, quoting from the article:
Declassified filings released by the FISA court last year revealed that the FBI had misused the 702 program more than 278,000 times, including, as reported by The Washington Post, against "crime victims, January 6 riot suspects, people arrested at protests after the policing killing of George Floyd in 2020 and—in one case—19,000 donors to a congressional candidate."
