The thing I want to figure out is how to run an Electrum Server for Liquid that can be used with the Blockstream Green app:

Mine worked like a charm through TOR! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿซก

I will try mine later on!

I am trying to see if I can connect using Tailscale now. Having minor issues, maybe due to lack of SSL/TLS๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿซก

I was hoping to be able to connect over Tailscale rather than TOR but will use TOR if I have to.

Iโ€™ll try to figure it out, also would prefer Tailscale

Iโ€™ll try to reverse proxy with TLS and see how this goes! Definitely not liking any sort of direct connection without TOR๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿซก

Ok, did the SSL reverse proxy and it worked! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿซก

So just nginx or haproxy in front of it or did you use Cloudflare?

I tried with CF, but nginx or haproxy should have identical effect. Just make sure to set port to 443๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿซก

I think I need to replace my collection of NUCs and Pis with a real server again so I can run VMs for all of these different things I want to do! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Look into these, very good as far as I have experienced! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿซก

Yeah I like the look of some of the Supermicro stuff, I was looking at the E300 in the past. Otherwise Iโ€™ve used the HP MicroServers in the past so one of the newer models might be ok. Iโ€™ve been trying to cut down on the amount of stuff I run at home though! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Same. I still have 3 HP servers with tons of power and RAM, but saving on electricity costs now. ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ž

Iโ€™ve got the storageโ€ฆ
