Actually yes it is... Go on... I need an excuse to cancel.... Why are they scamming

Too much money on overhead for a 501c3. Has a lot of name recognition same as an org; they globally Light It Up Blue. When it comes to charitable though - local and/or regional 501c3s have the strongest real time connection to constituents. That or Med Development Depts within Hospitals/Universities are great.

They’ve historically portrayed autism as a disease that can be β€œcured” and have done more to stigmatize autistic kids than to help them. Very little money donated actually makes it to families, and adults with autism are barely represented in the organization. Just cut it loose, and put that $60/year to better use on literally anything else.
