I'm in my final year of an International Relations degree and I've often had critical theory shoved down my throat. The first time, I immediately thought to myself that this did not belong in the content and that it was contrived rubbish trying to sound smart. Unfortunately, I realised today that I'd just become used to PC BS in every second resource I was made to read. I never stopped to wonder how it became this way but I just heard about the evolution of wokeness in higher education.
