The idea for a curation trail is solid and definitely addresses a real need on Nostr by helping people find content more easily. The challenge will be striking the right balance -if possible at this stage of Nostr that is still developing-: making sure it’s useful without introducing centralization -which I don’t understand how it can be done-. It’s also important to ensure the tool doesn’t end up creating spam or overloading relays, which can slow things down. If you can solve those issues, this could really enhance the experience for Nostr users without compromising its decentralized principles.
Discussion
What I was thinking is to run npubs as a centralized service that publish to their own node only, with dynamic difficulty for target content that would get monitored and updated to prevent or mitigate gamification. Users and ports opt in to using the feed by digesting the npub reposts.
It would also be neat to bring on a consortium of people that would deploy additional updates and administer the system, along with trying to drive the innovation of bringing this to a more decentralized and philosophical end result
