Is money an asset ?

This is the crux of all misunderstangs .. Assets (gold and Bitcoin , equities and real estate and bonds) are inherently volatile .. money is mechnism to reduce the volatility .. so that coffee tomorrow morning stays 2 bucks and eggs four dollars a dozen .. It doesn't work most of the times but then there is no better tool .. not even #bitcoin can solve this problem ...

Stable prices are important not only for coffee and eggs ... We need predictability for retirement planning .. for companies to get into long term contracts with vendors ..
