I was really curious about it, you posting this video was the perfect opportunity to test it out.

For some reason it stopped working in firefox, I installed chromium to test and it only loads the audio

I guess it has low compatibility with many browsers. It works only on Google Chrome on my end. Fyi I have also tested on Firefox and Chromium, didn't load.

Correcting what I said before: it hasn't stopped working, I was just assuming that the browser would work the same way on different systems. I believe that most browsers already support it, and that it was failing to display the video in the browsers I tested due to a lack of video codecs (I use debian)

I've come to the conclusion that there is no problem with ipfs, but for it to be used, at least here in the context of nostr, it would need an effort from the developers to provide support and some care from those who are going to post with the type of coding of the files or at least the attention of those who are going to see the notes is not using a system with deficient codecs.

But I really don't know anything for sure🤔

Yea... could be anything from browser, codec, client, os etc. If all fail, there's always that CID there to grab the ipfs file with an ipfs desktop app or browser extension, in case if you are not aware.
