The reason I increased my default zap to 375 was because I thought about how I used to rationalize World of Warcraft subscriptions when I was younger. Back then, paying for online games was nascent.

If WoW was an arcade, I would be spending two quarters per day on an amazing game for many hours.

Today I spend money on X, monthly, and I have an issue with service subscriptions in the sense that it’s pretty wasteful. It’s not a cohesive like an online video game.

Spending 2-5 quarters on nostr a day adds up. It makes posters feel good and enriches the overall platform.
