If posted the source code of my web site as a nostr event, then a desktop installed client that recognised that event could show the website when a user types in my npub.

Over time, that desktop client could replace a web browser and we would have an whole new internet that is uncensorable.

Interesting thought. Lots to consider on that one. Web sites and React apps typically minify into under 3Mb. Facebook app I think is 12Mb. Caching is very important for sites. Nostr support for this may be tricky and deeply involved. Im not sure this is a top priority inside the Nostr protocol but would need to think more. Web of Trust is much more important I think.
