@Michael Saylor is right that people view Bitcoin in a religious way. Religion has traditionally given people hope through unverifiable truths, this causes conflict with others who disagree. Bitcoin gives us hope but through VERIFIABLE truth.

I don't worship Bitcoin, I don't think anybody does, but I do revere it. For it is the ultimate #foundation for our current world of #abundance that is hidden by the fog of FIAT debasement. @Jeff Booth is right about that.

The inner peace and hope for the world that years of thinking about Bitcoin brings feel the most similar to the type of feelings I got from my prior religious views, but it doesn't also bring along the baggage or cognitive dissonance that those beliefs had either.
