What's a good linux distro that's not much work to sert up and will run fine ona 1-2GB RAM laptop?

Arch Linux. Easy to install with archinstall command from archiso and select a lightweight de. More setup is requred but its working fine for me.

How much RAM do Gnome and KDE take on Arch? I'm interested in a comparison with Alpine.
