πŸ’ Nostr as a Habit Tracker

β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”

Use hashtags to track daily or weekly habits.

Example: you want to track 100 pushups a day. Every day you post a note with #habit and #100pushups.

Using the Nostr habit app, you can view all these notes on a calendar to show streaks on various habits and stats.

It’s easy to challenge friends who can use the same hashtags (with or without the app), and your frens will automatically show up in the app so you can have accountability and competitions.

Additional feature ideas:

- zapping the app some sats and the are only returned if you reach your goal.

- group targets to work as a team

- private habit tracking that work the same way but via dm

… should we build it?

Build it. We will try it. And give feedback. But I have no idea whether people needs it or not πŸ˜€

I would really, really, really like this. It would be incredibly helpful for the work I do helping people get their creative work done by practicing their craft 18 minutes a day.

That zap payoff idea when reaching a goal… outstanding concept!

it is not just good idea, it is a must-do. but some comments. maybe it has to be more that just a habit tracker. for example I want to track some personal daily data like weight, blood sugar, blood pressure. I know there are many apps but I want to store my data myself.

but at the same time I don't want to trash the feeds of my followers, so we need some type of "hidden" posts, or subscribed only tags. It is not clear how to do that because this posts should be seen in the app for my friends but not be seen in nostr client for followers

Sounds interesting! But I agree with nostr:npub1p3a7kxy6chjp7p85m8p36j29suu98crl78sh30308dwqy54vn3qqnls90c somehow it would be nice to separate the topics. Can one select the relay notes are published to?
