Found this plan for building a bleeding arm simulator for tourniquet application.
The simulated “bleeding extremity” requires:
- Skeleton arm (e.g from a Halloween store). A PVC pipe or broom handle can alternatively be used.
- Foam pipe insulation (approximately 2-3” in diameter)
-Tubing from a nasal cannula
- Penrose drain
- A plastic water bottle with its associated cap
- Duct Tape
