I remember sitting in China saying “this is the stupidest app I’ve ever seen (抖音), there is absolutely no chance it takes off”

I was wrong.

I am now saying the same about 小红书。The stupidity of humans will prove me wrong again 😂

I hear ya. For me it is an age issue, meaning none of it registered - good or bad - given that I just didn't understand the premise.

For 小红书 it is an experiment of sorts that fascinates me. When it is more aggressively promoted in the US will there be adoption and will people even know it is yet another China app?
