Also go to the supermarket early in the morning to get some good deals. Chuck them in the freezer quickly.

I buy discounted steak anytime I find it.

Should have added I also eat lot of family pack size ground beef as well. That can last me a 2-3 days.

2lbs of tri tip say 16 if you know places plus some eggs and butter 550-650 per month per person

I spend like 50% of that. I think I might spend $300 a month.
